It’s wonderful to me to think of The Olde Mitre’s long existence; and it’s one of my favorite places in London. I especially love going there on a December afternoon, at early dusk but before the work day finishes and there are few people about.
Arriving by way of the little alley that comes off Ely Place and seeing the light shining out the beautiful old windows is one of my happiest memories. Lucky, lucky you knowing it not just now, but through the centuries. I hope by next December, travel will be possible and I can visit it again.
Hi thanks for your message we are glad thee ye olde miter pub is still open in Holborn and even when we visited it in another tyme it had a very pleasant atmosphere mynd you back in 1605 we wasn’t out of place but if we visited today we probably won’t be in place wyth modern tymes we hope you have a great tyme when you visit there again in December
