Thanks for noting this long-neglected holiday; it is special to me for many reasons, not least because it was my lovely brother’s birthday. On my first visit to England when I was twenty, I visited Stonehenge. This was before the days of huge crowds and much noise and people checking it off a list of sights to be seen; how lucky I was to be able to experience it that way.
It changed me and how I saw the world. I think you will understand this.
